Take what you have been given and glorify God with it…city on a hill.

YOUR LIFE AND FAITH HAVE A PURPOSE IN THIS WORLD. God made you salt and light. Be salty and uncover your light!

SHOW YOUR SALTINESS WITH INTEGRITY AND TRUTH.

• Don’t be ashamed of the truth.
• JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth,
  and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6,
  NKJV) It’s our way of revealing Jesus.
• THE GOSPEL LEADS PEOPLE TO SALVATION. “For I am not ashamed
  of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone
  who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16,
  NKJV)

DON’T BE ASHAMED OF WHAT JESUS SAID.

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:38, NKJV)

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BY LOVING GOD, NEIGHBOR AND ENEMY.

1. Loving people in this world is so unexpected.
2. More often people love themselves…and are suspicious of other people.
3. How do you show love for others. Unexpected kindness.

FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW.

“Jesus said to him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37–40, NKJV)

SHOW YOUR SALTINESS BY CARING FOR THE POOR OF THIS WORLD.

1. God is among the poor of this world.
2. Americans collect so much stuff now days that we have little room in our storage places. We usually have more in storage than many have to live with.
