1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. ⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

I. GOD'S SPOKEN WORDS HAVE CREATIVE CAPABILITY

A. The Word is God.
B. Our world was created through THE WORD.

1. "And GOD SAID..."
It was God speaking in the beginning that created all things.
2. The POWER of the Word.
3. The ORIGIN of the Word.
4. The AUTHORITY of the Word.

II. MAN'S SPOKEN WORDS ARE NOW POWERLESS

A. The RESPONSIBILITY for our words.
B. The ORIGIN of our words.
C. The AUTHORITY of our words.

III. CONCLUSION

A. I am responsible for my words.
B. My words must be anchored in love and come from God.
C. My words must bless and not curse.
