SCRIPTURE: DANIEL 12:1-4, 13, REVELATION 5

““At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”” (Daniel 12:1–4, NKJV)

““But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.” (Daniel 12:13, NKJV)

“And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.” (Revelation 5, NKJV)

THE SCROLL

  1. Sealed by Daniel until the end of days.
  2. Opened by Jesus at the end of days.
  3. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time.
  4. Everyone is waiting for this event…Even so, come Lord Jesus.
  5. Seals, bowls, trumpets

THE DELIVERANCE

  1. Your name must be written in the “book of life”.
  2. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.
  3. Of the millions of Jews around the world, how many have recognized Jesus as their messiah too?
  4. If anyone’s name was not found in the book of life he was thrown in the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)
  5. A complete understanding of judgement may be beyond our ability to understand.
  6. Death itself is thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:14)

THE RESURRECTION

  1. Resurrection was not just for Jesus…but for those who believe and those being judged.
  2. “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels of God in heaven. But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, ‘I AM the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”” (Matthew 22:30–32, NKJV)
  3. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will be alive at the resurrection.
  4. And you will arise to your inheritance at the end of days. (Daniel)
  5. You have redeemed us, and we shall reign on the earth.
  6. The praise to the lamb around the throne.
