Buzz ‘n’ the Narrow Way
Your patience has been rewarded. My nerves are shot but, ladies and gentlemen, we have a podcast!
The winner of last week’s giveaway is…
Anthony! His idea for the show was to have one of the leaders of the Lifespring church sit in with me and the two of us take calls. Great idea! Anthony will receive Mark Steven Brocke’s CD, “Completed”.
Congratulations, Anthony!
Here’s how we will do the show:
First, here’s the link for Skype. If you would like to participate in the next “Lifespring!” podcast, you’ll need to download and install Skype.
To call in, you’ll need a microphone on your computer and it’s really good if you have headphones, too, so you can turn off your speakers.
If you don’t have a microphone but would still like to participate, Skype has a “chat” function, too. We’ll take those questions, too.
My Skype ID is “lifespring_podcast”.
I’ll have my brother-in-law, Steve O’Brien, who is the associate pastor at the church, and a chaplain with the Air Force Reserves, with me to take your calls about life situations, and questions on religion.
We will begin recording this next podcast at 7:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time on May 2, 2005.
We would love to hear from you!
Music from today’s show…

Scriptures used today…
Luke 13:22-27 (NIV)
22Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23Someone asked him, ?Lord, are only a few people going to be saved??
He said to them, 24?Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ?Sir, open the door for us.?
?But he will answer, ?I don?t know you or where you come from.?
26?Then you will say, ?We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.?
27?But he will reply, ?I don?t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!?
Psa. 24:3-4 (NIV)
3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.
Matt. 5:21-22 (NIV)
21?You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ?Do not murder,? and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.? 22But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother? will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ?Raca,? is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ?You fool!? will be in danger of the fire of hell.
Matt. 5:27-28 (NIV)
27?You have heard that it was said, ?Do not commit adultery.? 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
John 10:7 (NIV)
7Therefore Jesus said again, ?I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep.
John 14:6 (NIV)
6Jesus answered, ?I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:23 (NIV)
23Jesus replied, ?If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
John 10:10 (NIV)
10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
