We recently had the marvelous opportunity to have Mr. Carl Hespe, of Special Touch Ministry, speak at my church.
Special Touch Ministry is focused on reaching disabled people with the message of hope, love and Good News. They are all about introducing Jesus to an entire group of people who the church spends very little effort or time on, if any.
When I heard Carl’s speak, I knew that I just had to have him on the show here, to share with you the same message he brought to the Lifespring! church in Riverside, CA. I think you’ll find him fascinating, and I think you’re about to have your eyes opened to a new way of thinking about the disabled.
Today, Pastor Johnny Diaz asks, “How are you and Jesus doing?” If your answer is, “GREAT! I have quiet time with him every day, I’m reading the word every day, (Or I’m joining you, Steve, in listening through the bible in one year on the Lifespring! Family Bible), and I’m active in my church,” well, chances are Johnny just might have something to say to you today that will surprise you.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to sit down with one of the most important people in my life, Del Brixey. This is a man that God has used more than once to bring me face to face with Himself. He and his wife, Kathi, are doing some very special and very important things today that I wanted you to hear about.
Way back on Lifespring! 85, which I named “Faith Personified”, I talked with Kathi, in which she talked about her battle with multiple sclerosis and cancer. I love these two people, and I hope you will too.
