Pastor Steve has a message today with Purim in mind.
Scripture: Esther 6:6
Esther’s (Hadassah) beauty swept her into the king’s favor for a time when her people were about to be persecuted. When an evil prince tried to wipe out the Jewish people, Esther stood in the gap between the king’s edict and her people. The evil that came against them was uncovered and destroyed. The people of God were elevated by God through the king. And Purim celebrates that delivery.

Pastor Johnny Diaz continues the Messiah series today with this message.
A month and a half ago, Pastor Johnny and his wife adopted a new puppy, Bella. Pastor Johnny says, “Ever since then we have watched episode after episode of National Geograpics “The Dog Whisperer”, trying to make our new puppy understand that I am the pack leader! I am the one that’s in charge. And well, she doesn’t get it; at least not yet.”
The question that arises from our study of Colossians 1:15 is, do we “get it” when we call Jesus our “Lord” and true “Pack Leader”?
Scriptures
Colossians 1:15b
John 1:18
Hebrews 1:3
Genesis 1:26,27
Isaiah 43:7
Proverbs 8:22
Psalm 89:27

What does Paul mean when he describes Jesus as the image of the invisible God? Did Jesus look physically like God or was the
description to give us a general sense of what God was like? What did Jesus mean when he told his disciples, “When you see me, you see the father.”
In today’s message, Pastor Steve O’Brien begins a ten week series on Paul’s view of Jesus the Messiah. Today’s subject: J
esus as the exact representation of God and why that is so important to the believer.
Scripture Reference: Colossians 1:15-23

I am not naked! It may sound like everything in Christianity is something you have to strip off or take out of your life…but that isn’t true. At the same time that you are allowing the old clothes to fall off… God is clothing you with royal clothes. The clothing of HIS kingdom…
