If your car breaks down, you have mechanical issues. If your computer breaks down, you have technical issues. If your tooth hurts, you have social issues right?
That last one doesn’t really make sense.
And yet Jesus seems to do the same when it comes to teachings about the Kingdom.
If you hate people, you have a heart issue?

Let’s clarify some things about the Bible. It is the written word of God. Its teaching is our guide to ethical and Godly behavior. But it is much more than an ethical guide.
It is a name.
It is living.
It is an agent of spiritual, emotional and physical change in our lives.
It is understood that prayer is a necessity, but the reading of God’s Word is also an absolute essential in the believer’s life. If prayer were breathing, then the word of God would be nourishment. We cannot live without either one.
For this reason the enemy of our soul would love to distract you from praying and discredit the Word of God. But we must not let this happen!
The Bible is foundational to our faith. Its authenticity is unprecedented. Its accuracy and truthfulness are mind blowing…many writers coming together to form a common purpose. Its effect on us can be profound. The Bible actually teaches us what we should know about itself.

A good teacher once said, “You can’t stay where you are and go with God.”Now is the time to consider what we believe about God.
Jesus said, “Go.”
What does that mean for us?
