Lifespring!122 “Go?”
Should a believer have standards? With whom and with what should we be identified? After all, Jesus hung out with sinners, right? If He did, do you think he followed their lead, or was it the other way around?
People say that God loves everyone, and that we should leave it up to Him to show them their errors. That we should just love them and accept them.
Okay, but how far does that go? When does this mindset move from being loving and compassionate to impotent and ineffective? When do we become laughing stocks, and worse yet, when do we cross the line from being loving and accepting, to encouraging and endorsing?

God bless you Steve. I appreciate the stong stand you have taken for what is right. We are in a time when christians will have to stand up more and more and be counted.
That had to be a difficult, soul-seaching decision. I pray that God will give you new sponsors who appreciate your message and will more than make up for what will be lost from “Go Daddy”. I believe the Lord will honor you for this stand and I’ll be praying for that.
Let’s pray that “Go Daddy” will feel the conviction of your decision and know that there are christians who will act on what is “right” and maybe desire to know that kind of experience with the Lord.
Good for you! What you are doing takes a lot of strength. A lot of people would trade their values for a paycheck.
I’ll pray for you to pick up another sponsor that will give you the chance to spread the word full time. Registry suggestion: namecheap.com
Keep up the good work!
I agree with you Steve. Back when you joined Podshow and with that, started playing the Go Daddy commercials, I didn’t have a problem with you using them as a sponsor. However, knowing their history, and then what you have shown, I definitely won’t go that way when I begin looking for a host provider in the future. While they never had my money to begin with, they won’t be getting it in the future.
Love the shows.
