How many times have we read John 3:16 and individualized it? ”He is talking about ME!”
Although that is accurate, it is only part of what that scripture means. The entire concept is more like God loves EVERYONE deeply… without ethnic prejudice, without favoritism… he loves us all.
For some that is a difficult concept to swallow because we do not live in a world without prejudice. As you listen to the scripture this morning, think on a global scale.
Yes, he loves you. However, he deeply loves all of mankind and sent his son on a rescue mission to save them all.
